The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow was an American Poet and Educator. He wrote a famous poem called, "Paul Revere's Ride." This poem is told from the perspective of the owner of the Wayside Inn and tells of Paul Revere warning the Patriots that the British were going to attack. While not all the events described in this poem are historically accurate, it is a very creative perspective into his adventure. Today, you are going to explore this piece of literature.
